Alepa

Great place if you love wine and want to go beyond the obvious choices in Florence. The natural wine selection is excellent, with plenty of small producers and genuinely interesting options by the glass. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and explained the wines well without making the experience feel overly formal. The food is also worth it: a well put-together board with good cheeses, cured meats, and accompaniments that worked very well with the wines. The atmosphere is relaxed, full of character, with good music and a very clear identity. We tried several different wines and this was easily one of the most interesting wine experiences of our trip, especially if you enjoy discovering producers, grapes, and styles outside the usual mainstream choices. I’d definitely come back.

If you like natural wine and very good bar food you should go there. They offer many open wines which you can try. We have tasted rosé, white, orange and red wines from Tuscany which were really good! The food is delicious as well. We have enjoyed olives, pasta, tartar and chocolate cake as well. The infusion as a digestiv made it perfect. The service is friendly and attentive. Thank you!

Cool wine bar with an extensive menu of wines from all over! Service was quite helpful when trying to choose what wine to order. Only reason I deducted 1 star was because the price of the platter does not resonate with what is given. 40euro for a board with 4 bruschetta, some veggies in olive oil and some small slices of cheese was quite unreasonable

This place is perfection! They have a very decent selection of natural wines by glass, which is not very easy to find in Italy. We’ve tried some of the finest orange wines here! Not only the wine is to die for, but also the vibes, food, atmosphere. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, plus they speak good English and can get into a conversation about flavours and terroirs. They host events, DJ sets, and every Tuesday you’ll get to meet one of the winemakers who’ll guide you through their wines. Good thing I don’t live in Florence, otherwise I’d spend all my time here.

Many great wines by the glass. Be ready to share the names of natural wines you like so the staff can guide you. They were very patient with us and allowed each of us to taste 3 wines before choosing, and we both ended up with glasses we LOVED. Make a reservation if you plan to eat, they only do one seating per night. A true gem for natural wine lovers.
